About the exclusive extra rewards of GateWallet

Q1: How can I receive the exclusive extra XP rewards from Gate Wallet?

A: During the campaign period, simply use Gate Wallet (including the browser extension wallet and the mobile app) as your operating wallet and add liquidity to Gate-exclusive liquidity pools on Gate DEX (GTBTC-USDC.e, GTBTC-WETH, GUSD-USDC.e). The system will automatically record transactions submitted via Gate Wallet and use them to calculate your additional rewards.

Q2: If I use both Gate Wallet and other wallets (such as MetaMask) during the campaign, can I still receive the exclusive Gate Wallet rewards?

A: Yes, but only transactions submitted through Gate Wallet will be counted. For example, if you add liquidity worth 1,000 USDT using Gate Wallet and another 500 USDT using MetaMask, the Gate Wallet exclusive reward will only be calculated based on the 1,000 USDT transaction volume. Operations from other wallets will not be included.

Q3: How is the amount of the Gate Wallet exclusive extra reward determined?

A: The extra rewards are distributed proportionally. After the campaign ends, the Abstract community will calculate the total liquidity value added through Gate Wallet. Each user's share of the total liquidity determines the proportion of extra XP rewards they receive. The higher your liquidity contribution, the more extra XP you will receive.

Q4: Do I need to claim the Gate Wallet exclusive rewards manually?

A: No. As long as you perform investment operations using Gate Wallet, and the EOA wallet used for the investment is bound to an AGW wallet, the rewards will be automatically distributed to your AGW wallet after the campaign ends.

Q5: Are the Gate Wallet exclusive rewards distributed separately from the base increased XP?

A: They are usually distributed at the same time (after the campaign ends) to your AGW wallet, but may be recorded separately. The base increased XP is a fixed 2x multiplier, while the extra bonus is the additional portion. You can view the final totals in the XP details within the Abstract ecosystem.

Q6: If I change my Gate Wallet address during the campaign, will it affect the statistics?

A: Please ensure that your AGW wallet is correctly bound to your EOA address. If you use multiple EOA addresses, each address must be bound to an AGW wallet separately, and transactions for each address will be counted independently. It is recommended to use the same EOA address throughout the campaign to avoid your rewards being split across multiple addresses.

Regarding wallet and binding

Q7: What is the difference between an EOA wallet and an AGW wallet? Which one should I use?

A:

  • An EOA wallet (such as Gate Wallet or MetaMask) is a regular private key wallet created by yourself, used for on-chain operations like adding liquidity on Gate DEX or staking LP tokens on Aborean.

  • An AGW wallet is the native wallet of the Abstract ecosystem, used to receive ecosystem rewards such as increased XP and badges.

  • You should use your EOA wallet for adding liquidity and staking LP tokens, but make sure to bind your EOA wallet to your AGW wallet in advance; otherwise, the Abstract community will not be able to distribute rewards to you.

Q8: How do I bind my EOA wallet and AGW wallet?

A: You can bind them on the official AGW wallet binding page. Before binding, you must first create your AGW wallet. Once binding is completed, the Abstract community will establish a one-to-one association between your EOA wallet and AGW wallet.

Q9: Can I bind my wallet during the campaign? What is the deadline?

A: Yes, you can bind during the campaign. However, it is recommended to complete the binding before the campaign begins to ensure all operations are properly recorded. Binding must be completed before the campaign ends. Otherwise, your address may not be associated during the snapshot and you may miss the ecosystem rewards.

Q10: If I don't bind my wallet, can I still receive trading fees and $ABX?

A: Yes. Trading fees and $ABX rewards are distributed directly to your EOA wallet through on-chain smart contracts, so they are not affected by binding. However, you will not receive the increased XP, badges, or Gate Wallet exclusive rewards.

About the characteristics of LP for NFT

Q11: LP tokens are NFTs and do not support partial staking. How can I manage multiple positions?

A: Each time you add liquidity, you will receive a separate LP NFT, and each NFT represents an independent position. You can stake or unstake each NFT individually. For example, you may stake some NFTs while keeping others unstaked.

Q12: If I stake an entire NFT, do I have to unstake the entire NFT as well?

A: Yes. NFT staking and unstaking are processed as whole operations. If you wish to exit partially, you must first unstake the entire NFT, and then remove part of the liquidity on the Gate platform. When removing liquidity, you may choose a partial amount, as Gate's liquidity pools may support partial withdrawals. However, since the LP token itself is an NFT, removing liquidity will generate a new NFT representing the updated position.

Q13: If I added liquidity multiple times on Gate and received multiple LP NFTs, how will they appear on Aborean?

A: Aborean will display all LP NFTs you hold, with each NFT listed individually. You can click each LP entry to open the LP details page and perform actions such as staking.

About cross-platform operation

Q14: I added liquidity on Gate, but cannot see my LP tokens on the Aborean website. What should I do?

A:

Please check the following:

  • Make sure Aborean is connected to the same EOA wallet address.

  • Try refreshing the Aborean page or wait a few minutes, as on-chain data synchronization may take time.

  • If the LP tokens still do not appear, verify the liquidity pool name and contract address to ensure it matches the pool you used.

Q15: I closed the staking guide pop-up on the Gate web page. Can I still find the staking entry?

A: Yes. You can visit the Aborean official website at any time, connect your EOA wallet, locate the corresponding liquidity pool, view your LP tokens, and open the details page to stake.

Q16: The Gate App did not show the redirect guide. How can I find the Aborean website to stake?

A: Please manually open the Aborean website in your browser with the link: https://app.aborean.finance. Connect the same EOA wallet used in the Gate App, then go to [My Liquidity] to view your LP tokens and stake them.

Q17: If I added liquidity on Gate but did not stake it on Aborean, would it affect my Abstract ecosystem rewards?

A: No. The Abstract community only checks whether you provided liquidity (i.e., hold LP NFTs). Staking is not required for ecosystem rewards. However, if you want to earn $ABX rewards, you must stake on Aborean.

Regarding the mutual exclusion mechanism (transaction fee vs $ABX)

Q18: Why did my trading fee earnings disappear after staking?

A: This is part of the protocol design. While staking, trading fee rewards are replaced by $ABX rewards to incentivize governance token mining. After unstaking, trading fees will resume accumulating.

Q19: What happens to unclaimed trading fees accumulated before staking?

A: When you initiate LP token staking, any accumulated trading fees will be automatically claimed first. Therefore, there will be no unclaimed fee earnings during the staking period.

Q20: If I stake and later unstake, can I recover the trading fees from the staking period?

A: No. Trading fees only accumulate while LP tokens are not staked. During staking, no trading fees are generated. Fee accumulation resumes after you unstake.

About ecosystem rewards

Q21: When will I receive the increased XP and badges? Where will they be sent?

A: They will be distributed to your AGW wallet by the Abstract community after the campaign ends. Please follow Abstract's official announcements for the exact distribution schedule. Aborean does not distribute these rewards directly.

Q22: If I remove liquidity during the campaign (redeem funds), can I still receive XP and badges?

A: This depends on the snapshot rules set by the Abstract community, such as periodic snapshots or average holdings. To ensure eligibility, it is recommended to maintain your liquidity position until the campaign ends.
