The Trading Competition is an on-chain trading tournament launched by Gate for all Gate users. Whether you are a whale trader, an on-chain hunter, or a new Gate user, you can find your arena here and compete for generous rewards.

• Transparent Data, Real-Time Updates: Rankings are calculated based on on-chain data and refreshed in real time. Every valid trade is accurately recorded.

• Fair and Verifiable: No black-box operations. Reward distribution logic is fully transparent, and prize payouts are traceable on-chain.

• Multiple Competition Tracks: From high-volume traders to ROI specialists and new users, there is a dedicated track for you.

We offer three types of arenas. Choose the one that matches your trading style:

1.Trading Volume Competition

Compete based on total trading volume.

• Specified Token Competition: Limited to designated tokens. Trading volume is calculated for specific pairs (e.g., PENGU/ETH).

• Open Token Competition: Trading volume is calculated for eligible trading pairs without token restrictions. Different pair categories may have different volume multipliers. Please refer to the specific event rules for details.

• Ranking: Participants are ranked from highest to lowest total trading volume. Rewards are distributed based on ranking. The higher the rank, the larger the reward share.

2.ROI Competition

Compete based on profitability.

• Core Metric: ROI = (Realized PnL + Unrealized PnL) / Principal. Airdrop rewards are not included.

• Ranking: Participants are ranked from highest to lowest ROI. Rewards are distributed based on ranking. The higher the rank, the larger the reward share.

3.New User Trading Competition

An exclusive competition for new users.

• Definition of New User: Users who create or import a wallet for the first time on a new device during the event period.

• Mechanism: Rules are consistent with the Trading Volume Competition. However, only users who meet the "new user" criteria can participate in this leaderboard, thus less competition pressure.

1.Top Performer Awards

• Eligibility: Ranked 1st–3rd on the leaderboard.

• Reward: Fixed high-value prizes to recognize outstanding traders.

2.Tier-Based Prize Distribution

Participants ranked 4th and below will share the prize pool according to their ranking tier (e.g., 4–10, 11–100). Depending on the event rules, distribution follows one of the following three models:

Model 1: Volume-Based Proportional Distribution

• Description: The more you trade, the more you earn. Your reward depends on your share of trading volume within the tier.

• Applicable To: Trading Volume or New User Trading Competition

• Formula: User Reward = (Individual Trading Volume / Total Tier Trading Volume) × Total Tier Prize Pool

Model 2: Equal Distribution

• Description: Equal sharing. All participants within the ranking tier split the prize pool equally.

• Applicable To: Trading Volume, ROI, or New User Trading Competitions

• Formula: User Reward = Total Tier Prize Pool / Total Number of Participants in Tier

Model 3: Hybrid Distribution

• Description: Composed of a fixed guaranteed reward plus a volume-based proportional reward.

• Applicable To: Trading Volume or New User Trading Competitions

• Formula: User Reward = (Fixed Tier Reward / Number of Participants in Tier) + (Individual Trading Volume / Total Tier Trading Volume × Tier Volume-Based Prize Pool)

• Wallets that are not backed up cannot register.

• Gate wallet touch, hardware wallets, and bot accounts are not eligible.

• Users located outside supported regions cannot participate.

• After the event ends, rewards will be distributed automatically. No manual claim is required.

• Rewards are distributed on-chain with full transparency.

Once you tap/click [Join Now] and successfully register, we will track your eligible trades during the competition through the Gate DEX Aggregator and calculate your total trading volume.

Please note that the following will NOT be counted:

• Single trades below $0.01

• Limit orders and Gate DEX API orders

2. How is my ROI calculated?

Once you tap/click [Join Now] and successfully register, we will track your eligible trades during the competition through the Gate DEX Aggregator and calculate your ROI based on both realized and unrealized PnL.

Please note that the following will NOT be counted:

• Airdrop rewards

• Single trades below $0.01

• Limit orders and Gate DEX API orders

3. How are rewards distributed?

After the competition ends, rewards will be automatically distributed to your participating account. No manual claim is required.

4. How does Gate handle suspicious trading behavior?

Any fraudulent activity or wash trading will result in disqualification from receiving rewards. Gate reserves the right of final interpretation for this event.
