1. Feature Description
Gate DEX Perps Trial Fund is a trading benefit issued by Gate DEX that can be used as margin for opening perps positions. It can also offset losses, trading fees, and funding fees incurred during trading.
Any profits generated while using the trial fund belong to the user. However, the bonus itself cannot be withdrawn or transferred.
2. Preparation Before Use
Please make sure you have:
Connected your wallet
Perps Trial Fund vouchers in your account (pending activation or already activated)
Reviewed the activation validity period and usage validity period to avoid expiration
3. How to Activate Perps Trial Fund
Method 1: Activate in Vouchers
Go to [Navigation Bar] - [More] - [Platform] - [Vouchers]
Find the Perps Trial Fund voucher in the [Pending Activation] list
Click [Activate]
Confirm activation in the pop-up dialog
After activation, the bonus will be deposited into your Perps Account. You can check the balance in your Perps Account.
If you see the voucher but your Perps Account balance hasn't changed, it's usually because the voucher hasn't been activated yet.
Method 2: Activate on the Futures Trading page
When you have a Perps Trial Fund pending activation, an activation banner will be displayed on the perps page.
Click the banner to view the corresponding voucher details and complete activation.
4. How to Check Your Perps Trial Fund Balance
You can view voucher status (pending activation / activated / expired) in [Vouchers].
In the Perps Assets section, a Perps Trial Fund indicator will appear if you have an available balance.
Hover over the indicator to see a breakdown that includes your perps margin.
5. Perps Trial Fund Deduction Rules
Perps Trial Fund supports One-Way/Two-Way and Cross/Isolated position modes.
The deduction priority is as follows:
Margin for Open Position：Perps Trial Fund > Personal funds
Funding Fees：Perps Trial Fund > Personal funds
Closing fees (profitable position)：Profit > Perps Trial Fund > Personal funds
Closing losses (including fees)：Perps Trial Fund > Personal funds
If you see a "Perps Trial Fund Deduction" entry in your bill, it means the fee was covered by the trial fund—it is not a duplicate charge.
6. Validity Period and Reclaim Policy
Vouchers have an activation deadline—vouchers not activated in time will expire automatically.
Once activated, the trial funds have a usage validity period; when they expire, the system will automatically reclaim any unused balance.
Trial funds already locked as margin will not be forcibly reclaimed upon expiry, so open positions will not be affected; the bonus funds will continue to offset costs when those positions are closed
7. Withdraw and Transfer
Perps Trial Fund cannot be withdrawn or transferred.
The profit generated from trading with trial funds can be withdrawn or transferred according to platform rules.
8. Notes
Perps Trial Fund is for perps trading only. Please pay attention to activation and expiry dates.
It is recommended to use the bonus promptly after activation to avoid losing available balance due to expiry.
